The above chant is a call for us all to wake up and become more conscious of what we have in common as human beings. If you are at all like me you are hearing the call to realize our oneness as spiritual beings. Your soul essence is stirring and beginning to awaken from a sleep state induced by a dream (or a “nightmare” as Toltec Master, Don Miguel Ruiz, puts it) in which our planet has collectively been stuck for millennia. That dream draws its life-force from a sense of separation, superstition, dogma, and a belief that one’s destiny and happiness is determined by how well one can control and manipulate the world around them. This dream thrives on the belief that the world is not a safe place and that people unlike themselves should be feared.
